# $YieldX Token

The **$YieldX token** is the core utility asset of the YieldX ecosystem. It is designed to incentivize participation, enable governance, and create a sustainable protocol economy through automated buybacks. Unlike many DeFi tokens, $YieldX is **not a profit-sharing instrument** and does not represent ownership of vault assets. Instead, it is a mechanism to align incentives between users, builders, and the Foundation.<br>
